Becoming a Client

Therapy is not always an easy decision and one that can be intimidating for a lot of folks.  That said, what most people report after leaning into the discomfort of initiating the process is that they wish that they had done so much sooner.  We trust that this will also be your experience and do everything we can to make starting the process as effortless and as comfortable as possible.  Please follow the simple steps below to get connected with the right therapist for you!

1.

Either call or email our intake coordinator.

Please call or email our intake coordinator to communicate your specific situation or needs.  They will assist you with connecting to the clinician that is most equipped to meet you there.  If you have already identified which clinician feels most appropriate, you can also call or email them directly.

2.

Schedule a brief call to assess goodness of fit

The prospect of communicating to a complete stranger about some of the most sacred aspects of your self and life can be scary.  We like to make sure that you have an initial baseline comfort level and that the clinician you begin with feels right and comfortable to you.  Therefore, we recommend that all clients have a brief phone screen to get a feel for a mutual goodness of fit.

3.

Schedule an initial appointment

Schedule an initial appointment with the therapist you feel will be the best fit for you.  Once you get scheduled, you will receive an email inviting you to join our online patient portal which will enable you to provide us with all of the requisite insurance, payment, and demographic information we will need to started.

4.

Sign into our patient portal and complete our digital, secure intake documents.

Sign into our patient portal where you can review and complete the necessary intake "paper"work.  This will allow us to use all of the time in our initial session to focus on you and your needs.  This is where we also encourage you to call your insurance company to get complete details about your coverage and any financial liability you may have.
